Audio books is what it equals. AUDIO BOOKS.
It also equals my FBI-Byte Series as AUDIO BOOKS via Apple.
It is very exciting.
I’ve wanted my books as audio books that everyone could listen to ever since the NZ Blind Foundation produced some of them for their use. (That was a long time ago.)
Anywho, I got an email that explained the partnership between Apple and D2D and how Apple were creating AI audio books etc. It was a no brainer really.
I had a go once before but via Google and it was awful so I scrapped it. There was no way I could afford the production costs to do audio myself. (My former publishers didn’t have that kind of cash either.)
Apple reckoned it could take 1-2 months to create a book because of all the checks and balances etc etc. Imagine my surprise when Flashbyte landed on Friday night and was quickly followed by Terrorbyte yesterday morning!
Pretty darned exciting.
I know a lot of people listen to audio books, so now audio books listeners can hear mine. (They’ll all be done eventually!)
My books are available via Apple. So if you use Books you can buy and download my books.
I’ve heard samples from Flashbyte and Terrorbyte. 🙂
Remember this was done for me. I have no creative control over the recordings. I don’t get to hear them at all until Apple publishes them.
I was pleasantly surprised how they turned out.
If you are interested here are the Universal Links for the books already produced as audio – the icons are ordered – ebook, paperback, then audio.

Now I’m away for a big walk.
Here’s Diesel:

I think that’s absolutely fantastic! I’m so glad the books are available on audio now; a lot of people experience stories that way. I hope it works out really well.
Same!!! xx
