I'm filling out subsidy paperwork for Superman. There's a lot of paperwork. There's a lot of stuff that I've never come across before - it's a learning curve. Our new normal took a sharp twist late yesterday afternoon. I had a phone call from the care home. Superman needed to talk to me. Awesome. I … Continue reading I swear it’s true …

Notes
The last week or so has been all about notes. My notes. I've been coming up with different ways to teach the same subject. Fresher text. It was time. Or I'm procrastinating like the pro I am. It was time to tackle tired text and revamp it. Tidy it all up a bit, make it … Continue reading Notes
I’m twitchy
My eyelid is twitchy. I know what it is. It's stress. It's happened before, a couple of times. Once upon a time the mere mention of the Frau would start my eye a twitching. She's long gone from our vicinity, thankfully. This twitch is because the last three weeks have been crazy stressful. They may … Continue reading I’m twitchy
Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
It's been a trying few weeks. It's tried my patience. It's tried my commitment to coffee and tequila. It's tried my ability to speak without swearing. It's tried my sense of security. It's tried my will to get things done. It's 100% tried to stop my brain working so I can write. It's just fucking trying. It took the fire brigade and ambulance to get him out because the driveway is too difficult for ambulances when the ground is sodden. … Continue reading Home again.

What about me?
This week I've been reading [Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra] and getting it ready for editing and such. I'm reading it as an ePub on my iPad and using the note function to make comments about changes - missing words etc. It's a lot nicer than doing the same thing using my Kindle. This will be the … Continue reading What about me?
The end is looming.
Nothing to do with the wars. At all. Except that I might've called it again. Oops. Never mind, that's how we roll. I know things and I hope they don't eventuate. (Also, I literally have a pantry full of canned food and so forth. 16 can's of baked beans doesn't look so obsessive now, does … Continue reading The end is looming.
Like a horse on meth!
Yes, that’s an odd post title. But it tickled the hell out of me. A new review for [indigo Romeo Lima] landed yesterday and I think it’s rather good. But you can make up your own minds. Damnably clever let me know what you think!
