I am going to have to get my arse into gear very shortly and get on with [Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra]. I have become entirely too slack. It's not like I haven't written anything. I did finish a short for an anthology and it is a Ronnie Tracey story. The thing I'm not doing though is … Continue reading Hey Hey …

A birthday and a spy story …
Freda is 26. Unbelievable but it's true.I finished the short story I was writing for the LA Anthology! Hooray. Very much enjoyed taking Ronnie and putting her in a foreign city. The story came in a little under 7K, so a lot longer than I envisaged when I started it. I know I could've taken … Continue reading A birthday and a spy story …
Moving ever closer.
As much as I think I am ready for the launch of [Indigo Romeo Lima] on April 11th, there's still a little niggle of doubt. I honestly don't know what I could add to the launch day/event, so I am hoping everything is fine and taken care of now. Of course, there is still the … Continue reading Moving ever closer.
Do you know where you’re going to?
Do you know? The song "Do you know where you're going to" by Diana Ross popped up this morning, and it started me thinking about my characters. Did you see that coming? 🙂 I don't know if I ever knew where Ellie was going - the FBI-Byte Series stories were mysteries to me that unfolded … Continue reading Do you know where you’re going to?
A few observations …
As you all know, I'm a writer and as such I read a lot. And I do tend to come across some 'interesting' books. You know what I do with the ones that absolutely astound me with their nonsense. That's right. They become a teaching tool. So this is the thing - I'm reading a … Continue reading A few observations …
Don’t rock the boat …
Or do. It's entirely up to you. I was thinking about the new Veronica Tracey Spy/PI story that partly exists. There is definitely 'boat rocking' in that story. Ronnie isn't one for calm waters, too boring. If I don't sit my arse down and get on with it though, that story will never completely exist. … Continue reading Don’t rock the boat …
2024 is almost done.
I don't think it was an all round bad year. It was an interesting year - just not always in the best way. Pain Management Clinic was wonderful. After it ended a few really hard things happened so I think going back to Pain Management might be good idea. We had a couple of big … Continue reading 2024 is almost done.
It might be summer.
Today might be summer. Can't vouch for tomorrow and it definitely was not summer yesterday. Such fun. Every day we play 'guess the season' in the valley. In other news, the first round of edits are done. Now I know why my lovely editor refers to [IRL] as 'the one with all the hyphens'. I … Continue reading It might be summer.

Kia ora,Welcome to Christmas Eve in New Zealand. It started with a text to a friend who has a Christmas Eve birthday. I was first to say Happy Birthday so that's a win.
