Fates Entwined: Spellbound Bookshop
Every Beat of My Heart.
That's right, the Rod Stewart song is today's blog title. Why? Because I like the song. Also, because it's the title of the first story in Cachebyte. Words have been elusive since I arrived home from Mahau Sound. [FFS] isn't moving along as fast as it did while I was away. It's annoying me. (Of … Continue reading Every Beat of My Heart.
Magic formula?
I've been a bit hopeless at blogging (and also writing) for the last few weeks. Possibly a few things causing apathy. Sometimes it's all too much, and to be honest, it feels like a waste of time. As much as I love writing and enjoy the VT Series characters, I'd also like proper sales. That … Continue reading Magic formula?

Avenues and alleyways
I'm reading a book. I know, shocker! It's got a main character who has migraine disorder. It's not one of my FBI-Byte Series books. What? 🙂 Where I left off last night the main character had an icepick migraine. (They are evil fuckers but they only last seconds.) So far, I've had every type of migraine … Continue reading Avenues and alleyways
Author Interrogations 2025
Hello out there,I'm going to run a new season of author interrogations with all new questions from mid-May 2025. (If I get enough hands in the air.)So, if you're an author (don't care what your genre is, you do not have to be a crime writer) and you'd like to take part in the 2025 … Continue reading Author Interrogations 2025
Book trailers
Self-explanatory post heading today. 🙂 As you probably know, I love a book trailer. I love making them. It's the fun part of writing and I won't give it away. You also know how much I despise 'digital marketing' dickheads. I'm not alone in that. Authors do not like being DM'd on every fucking platform … Continue reading Book trailers
Born this way.
I've always enjoyed Lady Gaga, so you can thank her for the title of today's ramblings. Born this way was the title of a chapter in Qubyte. Worked then and it works today. 🙂 This week is busy and also there have been some fun things happen. [Nothing happens here] is now an audio book … Continue reading Born this way.
7 Days.
My Knight will be home next Monday! (He'll be home on a Monday somewhere around noon.)I think I have finally tracked down a broken [Leave a message] link here. (Not so much broken as there is a new one but it's been around for a while!)It's Wellington Anniversary Day today - doesn't mean much except … Continue reading 7 Days.
Don’t take it for granted.
What is it? I hear you ask. It is, anything and everything, or nothing. That depends on you. The youngest child suggested an idea for a novella today. (Yes, the youngest child is the one who suggested the Fates Entwined novellas, if you recall she hasn't read those yet. Mostly because ME/CFS renders words to … Continue reading Don’t take it for granted.
