No secret that I love listening to Elvis. Years ago I had Elvis's blue album. An actual blue record. Fabulous! Anywho, today I need to seriously think about writing my speech/talking points for the [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] launch at Upper Hutt Library on August 4th, 6PM. Be there or be square. 🙂 Turns out Ronnie's … Continue reading Moody blue …

Settling into the new normal:
It's quite tricky working out what I can and can't do now and forever more. The only way to work it out is to try. If there's pain it's a no, if there isn't then a way I go. So far most things that are every day type things for me are a big fat … Continue reading Settling into the new normal:
Can I just …
You all know it was release day on Friday, right? [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] is out there in the world fending for itself. Pretty exciting. I think it should be release weekend though, not just day. I mean when something takes nearly a year to write then you've got all the editing (and your nobtastic editor) … Continue reading Can I just …

Keep the Faith
Another 3k walked out of my fingers and into the [Foxtrot Mike Lima] WIP yesterday. It felt pretty good, gotta say. Very much enjoyed the writing. Woke up this morning and thought of something related to where everyone was when I stopped. That's a pretty good sign. In fact it's a very good sign. This week … Continue reading Keep the Faith

Life’s Been Good
Thank Joe Walsh for the title. I'll include the playlist I'm listening to at the end. 🙂 Delighted to say that the first parcel of [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] books arrived this morning. Considering the utter hell I went through trying to get Amazon to accept they had a fault on their end and to fix … Continue reading Life’s Been Good
Aimless walking:
I don't do well without an objective. Today I should be going for a walk (it's good for my brain) but I can't decide where to go. The park isn't far enough and I have no desire to get wet feet from the grass. I don't do aimless walking well. I need a destination and … Continue reading Aimless walking:
If you could ask me a question …
I think the title is self-explanatory but I guess it isn't for everyone. :)If you could ask me a question about writing or my work, what would it be? What do you really want to know? Is there anything? If there is, jump into the comments section and ask. I will answer to the best … Continue reading If you could ask me a question …
