This Saturday I’ll be talking about plotting, murder boards, and beat sheets … do you think I can find my post-it flagged copy of Snakebyte?
No, I cannot.
Did this exact thing happen last time?
Yes, readers, yes it did.
And my solution to make life easier for next time was …?
I thought, I honestly did, that I’d put the copy in my bookcase with my textbooks.
I did not.
Guess I’ll be searching the house this afternoon then!
Honestly, I don’t help myself. 🙂
In other news, I just ordered some author copies of [NHH] and [LAM] so I’m starting to gear up for the launch of [FML] in June. This time, to prevent an aneurysm, I’ve ordered author copies from Draft2Digital. There is no arguing. There is no ‘can’t ship dangerous goods’ nonsense. How did it go?
Well readers, I added the required number to my cart and purchased them – just like that. Could not have been easier. It’s also a nice touch that they recognise I’m in New Zealand immediately. So, that’s done. Yay.
I’ll be ordering more books later on from D2D … a few here and a few there, is the easiest way for me to do it.
I should be writing this morning. It’s come to my attention that the notebook I’m using for [IRL] is filling up fast and I still haven’t transferred my scenes to the actual story file. I need to get my arse in gear and do that. It’s on my list. I was going to go for a walk this afternoon but maybe I’ll do that now and write this afternoon. 🙂 🙂
Poor ol’ Brian Brain needs a walk and some fresh air.
On that note, I should pop off and create some new images, go for a walk, and get stuck into [IRL]. 🙂

Sounds as though things are moving along for your launch, and that’s great! I’ll bet it’ll be fantastic. And trust me, you are not the only one who loses things like post-its that have important information on them…
