Sometimes writing is a lot of fun.

If you’ve been here longer than two minutes then you’ll know who Emily is (perhaps?) anyway, moving along, Emily Jones is a character in the Veronica Tracey Spy/PI Series. She enters in Book 2 [Lure the Lie]. As the series progresses she grows like any good character should.
I like Emily as a character and I find her fascinating. Little bits of her world come to light as I write. To start with there wasn’t much coming out and then I got more. I knew she had a past but I didn’t know what that looked like. Now I know more but does she? That’s the million dollar question.
As I’m writing *[Indigo Romeo Lima] Emily’s past becomes important and by crikey writing a character like her is a lot of fun. The more fun I have writing the quicker the pace so I’m starting to make progress.
It would help if I wasn’t sick. (Not COVID but a nasty cold that has almost taken my voice and my throat is very annoying.)
Our holiday has stalled in Christchurch due to us both being sick.

I have spent time over the last few days creating merch for the Veronica Tracey Spy/PI Series. That has kept me amused for a little while. Very much looking forward to my tee-shirt arriving. Have a few more things in my cart ready to buy. (Mostly badges.) 🙂 I love a badge. That’s a left-over from the 70’s and wearing BCR and Rolling Stone badges on my scarf.
That’s about it from me.

*If you’ve read [Foxtrot Mike Lima] you know why there is Indigo and not India in the title of Book Six.

  1. I find Emily a fascinating character, and I’m very much looking forward to getting to know her better in [Indigo Romeo Lima]. She’s got depths, and that’s really appealing. Hope you’re feeling well soon!
