We’ve reached the part of the year where there is a lot of ‘hurry up and wait’ happening. Everything feels like it slows down as Christmas approaches. It doesn’t and couriers are flat out despite that it seems to take forever to get parcels! So we wait.
I’m waiting for two packages (Christmas decorations and whatnot) that I’ll never get because the sender didn’t supply the entry documents for a set of wooden gnome decorations. I did tell MPI that they can burn them and deliver the other things if they like. And they said they were in touch with the sender. Me too, and it’s like beating your head against a brick wall.
I will be getting my money back, tomorrow. A lot of the things in those parcels are sold out. So I can’t just re-order without the gnomes and time is marching on for pre-Christmas delivery.
There’s always something.
Maybe I wasn’t meant to have a gnomy Christmas?
Anywho, Superman’s birthday present is on its way to Mahau Sound from Christchurch. And I think I know what to get him for Christmas. Hooray.
I still don’t know who of my kids will actually be here for Christmas. Guess that’ll make things fun. 🙂
Anywho, What you need to know is that [Indigo Romeo Lima] will launch on APRIL 11th. Details will follow about the launch event but meanwhile pop that in your diary.
AND, [Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra] is moving on rapidly at the moment – not bad for a story that was supposed to wait patiently until next year.
Yeah, I know about that hurry up and wait thing. It’s really hard to pick the right time to send something. I know I’ve ordered really early, hoping something might make it by the date, and it arrived late. Then other times I’ve ordered later than I should, and the parcel still got there early! It’s a crap shoot, you ask me.
I am sorry to hear about the gnomes. It’s funny how complicate it is to ship some things internationally, isn’t it? Anyway, delighted to hear about the release date for [IRL]. I hope it gets a lot of attention!
