Dark emotional FBI thriller with a strong female lead.

That’s a mouthful of a title. Probably not something you want to say too many times. It’s a lot. But, then, so is Ellie Conway. Maybe it works then?
Just lately a lot of the scammer ‘marketing’ and scammer ‘bookclub’ emails have been rabbiting on about books in the FBI-Byte Series. I’m not sure why.
I guess it’s just what they hit on this week. A couple of them today mentioned the fourth boxed set and how wonderful they thought it was. The entire spiel was AI generated, as usual, and they knew nothing beyond the blurb. Who falls for this shit? Seriously, who falls for it? People must be otherwise they would’ve given up a long time ago and headed down a new path.

I’ve lost count of how many people have asked for a link so they can post a review for ‘my book’ – they never say the name of the book. Why ask? Reviewers don’t ask. They just post.
Most reviews are never seen by the author.
What other people think of our work, is none of our business.
It won’t change anything if reader xyz gives a 1 star review because ‘it wasn’t for them’.
It won’t change anything if reader hjk gives a 5 star review because they loved it.
We don’t award points to readers for reviewing our work. We appreciate the effort gone to and carry on with our day. Mostly, as I said, we don’t see reviews.
Why? Reading reviews is not beneficial to an author it is beneficial to a reader looking a new read.

(FYI, if anyone wants me to do anything at all on Goodreads they can go to hell. I am not on there. There is an author profile because those wankers refused to delete it YEARS ago. Do not ask me for a link to Goodreads. That place is poison.)

Moving on.

Currently writing [Indigo Delta Kilo] and quite enjoying the process. I, seriously, don’t know what’s going on in this story. Multiple things, as usual, but where it will go … I have no clue. It might not head off shore or it might. Who’s to say?

Let’s play a game called: Name that FBI-Byte Book!
Do you know which books the four one-liners describe?

1. “Justice, vengeance, and intuition collide in Conway’s fight to stop a global predator.”
2. “Mistaken identities, sniper attacks, and ghosts from the past collide in Conway’s fight for survival.”
3. “On the run and out of allies, Ellie fights to clear her name before it’s too late.”
4. “Outlaw bikers, shady deaths, and a ticking clock—Ellie’s latest case is viral chaos.”

Clue: none of them describe Killerbyte. 🙂
