How I Bring a Book into the World. Get yourself a hot drink or whatever ... this will take a minute! I sometimes get asked what it takes to write and publish a book. The short answer is: Quite a lot. The longer answer is that I don't simply write a manuscript and hand it … Continue reading From idea to book:

VT Visual Bible.
Somewhere over the last week I moved from creating A+ content to creating what's becoming a visual bible for the Veronica Tracey Spy/PI Series. How?Well, I wanted to see my version of my characters - and use them, some of them, with some other images on Amazon, right? If you have a look at [Nothing … Continue reading VT Visual Bible.
Procrastination level: expert
Not to brag or anything, but I think I achieved 'expert' level in procrastination this weekend. I know! I'm ready to accept my trophy. Have my speech ready and everything. But what I didn't do this weekend was piss anyone off by referring to the 'safety' on a Glock. Yeah, I'd never do that. But someone … Continue reading Procrastination level: expert
Not long now.
[Echo Mike Papa] releases Friday the 31st of July. (Maybe the 30th for some platforms - don't ask.) Anywho, I had a thought and I ran it past Robbie and Admin Bubbles and then Doris. We are in agreement. Friday the 31st there will be a little bit of a shindig at our place. A … Continue reading Not long now.

While my coffee was brewing I opened all … Continue reading A day in the life …

Is it a milestone?
I've reached the age of having my glasses around my neck on a lovely beaded thingy. It's mostly to stop them flying off my face and getting kicked across the ground. They're expensive and I've already got two scuff marks on them. So, glasses keeper it is then. While I was at it, I got … Continue reading Is it a milestone?
Moody blue …
No secret that I love listening to Elvis. Years ago I had Elvis's blue album. An actual blue record. Fabulous! Anywho, today I need to seriously think about writing my speech/talking points for the [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] launch at Upper Hutt Library on August 4th, 6PM. Be there or be square. 🙂 Turns out Ronnie's … Continue reading Moody blue …
