Crash Into Me.

Actually don’t. No. I don’t want you to crash into me.
In fact, stay far far away.

It’s Monday. Coffee is black and hot, as it should be. It’s a bit early in the day and the week for anything much.
The plan is to work on [Foxtrot Mike Lima] after physio this morning. We shall see how that pans out. There were words written during the weekend. A lot of notes in my notebooks that appear to be random but I know they aren’t, they’ll make sense shortly. I opened a new document for a scene that wanted me to write it. I’m fascinated by it. Not a hundred percent sure who the players are, well, I know one of them. It’s always interesting for me when stories take on a life of their own.
I do know there is a PMC operating within NZ (in the story) or potentially two. I need to go through some Byte books and check if I ever mentioned O’Hare Security in the PMC realm.

I’ve been up long enough to make coffee and drink half a mug. My wrist has already chosen violence in the form of constant pain.

Yesterday I sent notes to my students. Created a new resource for quicker reference when it comes to description and how to use it. That was fun. (Also physically painful. There’s no getting away from this wrist nonsense.)

I also cooked a roast yesterday. Roast beef. So good. It’s been a long time since we’ve roast beef. Years. Very much looking forward to roast beef sandwiches today. 🙂

Magic is back for morning listening. For three days Siri persisted in telling me there was a problem with Apple Music. We argued, a lot. There was no Apple Music problem, I was correct in that. I felt it was a TuneIn issue. And guess what? It was a TuneIn issue. I do wish Siri would listen when I’m clearly right. 🙂
Anywho, I’ll let Apple support know shortly. Geoff and I can now listen to Magic, him from Perth and me from NZ. (Geoff also had a HomePod TuneIn issue.) While is was “down” though I did discover Coast radio. (Because stations were still playing via iHeart.) Coast plays really good music. So now I have two favourite stations. Yay. 🙂

That’s about it really. Have a good week.

  1. I’m very glad Magic is back. Music makes all the difference, doesn’t it? And I love it that your story is taking on a life of its own; that can make for the absolute best stories when you listen to what the characters tell you.
