Hi, how are you?

My crime writing class is over for the term. It was much fun. Really great interactive group of soon-to-be crime writers. 🙂
Very much enjoyed sharing what I know about the subject. I always do like teaching crime writing but this last time felt different.
Anywho, that’s done for now.
I very much hope they all go on and finish their stories/books even if it’s purely for their own entertainment. I also hope they keep in touch.

I did not get any writing done this weekend. I was creative in other ways. I’m always doing something creative because it’s in my genes and there is no escaping that part of me.
After Easter I will be knuckling down and getting on with [Indigo Romeo Lima]. I have given myself until after Easter. On April 2nd I will be cranking out scenes and it will be like that until the book is finished.
The planning that goes into a book launch is continuing. I’m bringing in [Veronica Tracey] Spy/PI books at the moment so the earlier books are represented at the launch. (No plans to have any FBI-Byte books there.)
I’ve checked my posters and might print a couple more.
I sent an invite to my students yesterday along with their final PDF’s.

One more thing … Jimmy the Thug was waiting for me on the table under the kitchen window this morning. He was hungry and skittish and he’s far too thin for the coming winter. I fed him well. Diesel wanted to see him. I had to escort him past Jimmy though when Diesel wanted to go outside. Jimmy was a bit too skittish to rekindle their friendship. Coming in was different. I stayed by Jimmy so he knew Diesel was just going inside again. Jimmy barely looked up from his bowl. After not seeing him for a couple of months, he’s been home twice in a week. Hoping he’ll stay around now.

That’s about it from me, right now. Busy as usual.
🙂 Be well.

  1. So glad Jimmy’s OK, even if he is too thin and underfed. I sure hope he’ll stay around for bit. Funny you’d mention waiting until Easter to get back to [Indigo Rodeo Lima]; that’s sort of my deadline for getting everything done that needs to be done before Scene of the Crime goes live. Then I’ll see whether I’m going to have a launch, and if so, what sort of launch.

    • I hope you do have a launch! They’re so much fun but they are a lot of work. I think they’re worth it though and we should celebrate publishing our latest work. It’s important to acknowledge all that work. 🙂 🙂

      Great minds again!
