The thing I miss the most …

Sounds ominous really, doesn’t it?
The thing I miss the most from the bookshop years – getting to talk to many many authors. Yep. That’s what I miss. Talking to authors. Discussing how we work, why we work that way, what’s coming up. All the things. Especially having a good laugh (usually about something shitty that happened within the industry).
The other day I woke up and decided to run ‘Author Interrogations’ again. I did this years ago, back when I used Blogger and was a new author. I didn’t know many writers so it was a good way for me to get to know some. It was also cheeky as buggery and took a lot of nerve to ask people to take part.
Flash forward a BUNCH OF YEARS. I can scroll through my contacts and hit a lot of authors. If people say no, I move on, seriously. That’s the worst anyone can say. I have a much harder shell after 20 years in this industry.
It’s quite nice being here now. I worked hard for this much peace when it comes to rejection.

That’s not why we’re here … nope.
We’re here because ‘Author Interrogations’ are a thing again.
I have 7 scheduled already. Graphics were sent out to those authors, for them to do whatever with.

If you are an author, then, hit the form at the end of this post and I will send you the questions. Turns out I’m not the only one who misses written interviews and the days before everything turned into a money making scheme and ‘marketers’ crawled out of the woodwork.
(There is no charge at all. We’re going old school. This is simply authors supporting authors.)

Scroll past the graphic and you’ll see the contact form.
