There’s a blaze of light in every word.

The title is from Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah (In case you didn’t recognise the words).

The other day I was getting things organised. As I do. I got the final files for [Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra] loaded to all the platforms. Yay. The plan was do it all now and then just let it sit, knowing everything is done. It’s a good plan!
Then I turned my attention to [Echo Mike Papa] and started the process.
Turns out I have a bit of difficulty with calendars and scheduling at the moment. It’s a little bit unusual. Traditionally I’ve struggled with chapter numbers … so this calendar thing is different.
I got everything loaded to Amazon. Hooray! All good. Yay.

Then, I turned my attention to Draft2Digital. All good. So I thought.
Then I walked home from Pinehaven. The whole way I was getting pings from email, so many pings. I didn’t look. I don’t check my phone while I’m walking.
Once at home I checked.
I had accidentally released [Echo Mike Papa]. RELEASED book 8 before book 7.
Sigh.
Yes, I pulled it from sale. In fact I deleted the files from D2D.
Now … I may end up with an issue when I try to load it with the correct date. I hope not. I thought I’d give it a good long while before I attempt that. Maybe I’ll wait until May. 🙂

It’s not the first thing I’ve screwed up over the last few weeks.
Tomorrow I have physio at 12:30 but I thought it was 11:3o, and we have to be in Silverstream at 1PM.
This is not the first time I’ve stuffed up the physio appointment or other appointments. (Sorry Sarah!)
In fact, I just did it again!
We are meeting someone today – I wrote it against midday but My Knight suspects it’s 11. Guess we’ll find out.

I could give myself an out because it’s been a stressful ol’ time since July 2025 and I’ve had a lot to organise and keep track of. It will settle down – hopefully.

Meanwhile, don’t ask me what day it is. I have no clue. 🙂

In other news: I am supposed to be writing “The Device” (- working title). And, I’ve written sweet fuck all. Maybe a couple of sentences and then life took over (in the best way). I’ll get back to it just not yet. I’m getting there, Pete.

Last night we went to the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s Macbeth. It was ballet but not as you’d think! Absolutely amazing. I’d wondered how they’d do it and now I know. Well worth seeing! We had a fabulous night.

There’s a story that popped up while we were at the ballet – or more correctly, a scene. It all centres around the guy with the red star cufflinks.

Here’s some fun:
