A massive thank you to all the wonderful people who remembered my birthday yesterday (and today for those in the other half of the world). Facebook and Linkedin do a great job of reminding us all! haha Last night was the last full moon of the decade. We did a bit of witchy stuff. Cleansed … Continue reading Friday the 13th

November: The Big Thrill
Readers, Exciting news. There is an interview with me about Cryptobyte in the Nov issue of The Big Thrill! [Click on the word Cryptobyte above to read the interview.] In other news ... the launch is less than a week away, and it's very exciting. Of course, since returning home from Perth I've broken two … Continue reading November: The Big Thrill
Dear Readers,
Seemed like a good title for a blog post ... not sure if it works but hey, you be the judge. Since I've been away taking very good care of #MyKnight while he recovers from a hip replacement, I've actually done a few things. I know, I was surprised too. For starters, ALL the Byte … Continue reading Dear Readers,
Everything should sparkle
Seriously, it should. Not just because I just saw a glitter helmet on the telly (watching American Pickers with My Knight). I've been a sparkle lover my whole life. And you all know the joy when my daughter told me I could have GLITTER on my book covers. 🙂 As it stands now, two of … Continue reading Everything should sparkle
Total hip replacement
Welcome to a random post about our life right now! This morning I was supervising exercises ... looked painful and there are a lot of exercises to do.But then if you think about it - it's going to be painful. Drinking coffee with Jimmy Buffet …
Obviously not in person, but I'm drinking my coffee and listening to Jimmy Buffet on YouTube - so that's close, right? Don't have much time for mucking around this morning. Got a rep rugby game to watch at 9. Grandson 2 is playing. Last time our surname was in an Upper Hutt rep team it … Continue reading Drinking coffee with Jimmy Buffet …
It was Crashbyte …
This morning I opened a file called 'Crashbyte' - that's what Vaporbyte was always supposed to be called. Book 12: Crashbyte. Somewhere as I was following the story, (and it happened pretty fast - two chapters in) I realized Crashbyte wasn't going to be book 12. It may not ever be an anything. That's okay, … Continue reading It was Crashbyte …
Life versus writing
Funny how things change. Used to be writing that was my happy place. Now it's Perth. I have little time for writing and am struggling to find a reason to carve that time out. Finding writing time has been increasingly difficult for the last four years. The only real writing time I get is when … Continue reading Life versus writing
