Another year rolled around.
My cards were frighteningly positive. Not a blip to be seen. Not quite sure what to make of that. So I’ll leave it alone.
(Clearly they weren’t talking about my wrist. It decided to rock in with a 9/10 on the pain scale. So that’s fun, said no one fucking ever. It’s been a lot more annoying over the last few weeks. I know it’s worse when chopping the fucking thing off seems like a good idea. Yes, I know, then it’d be phantom pain because the map in my brain would still think my fucking wrist is there.)
So today … weeds need spraying. The back lawn needs mowing.
And I officially start writing [India Romeo Lima] but the thing is, I want to use indigo and not India because I like it better. So, [Indigo Romeo Lima] it will be. I think I use indigo in [Foxtrot Mike Lima] instead of India. I’ll have to check.
That’s a me thing. 🙂
Yesterday I messed around with new taglines for the Byte Series and the VT series. The plan was to use them to create Reels. I made one. That was it. It’s quite taxing on my wrist creating Reels and video. Maybe I’ll make another one today. At this rate it’s going to take me until February to do all of them. (The curse of having written so many books!)
I also took all the previous images/video used along side quotes, excerpts, links, and whatnot over the last three years and put the whole lot on a flash drive. Spent quite a bit of time tidying up the cloud and my MacBook. All the shit I don’t need is now stored somewhere else. All the folders are clean and tidy and easy to navigate. It took a LONG time. (Possibly contributed to the pain. Yeah, it did.)
The plan is to create all new bits and pieces for 2024. I think it’s going to be a slow process.
Anywho, Happy New Year.
Buy a book so an author can eat and not feel like shite. 🙂

I admire how clever you are with those reels and vids. I should do some for my work, too, but I just…haven’t. Well, only twice, but it’s a good general idea to do something like. Anyway, I hope McWristy gives you some peace, and I hope 2024 is an amazing year for you!
Yes, you should do some. (Then you’ll find out just how easy it is … shhhh.)
Happy New Year, Margot. May a bazillion sales of your books make the year absolutely fantastic. xx
