Posters, rain, and writing.

Odd blog title but then I often have odd blog titles. 🙂
It’s bucketing down here. Full on pouring with rain and parts of the yard are flooding due to the very dry ground. It can’t absorb the water fast enough.

Anywho, this morning I created the hardback cover for [Foxtrot Mike Lima]. Do you think I could work out how I got the particular shade of blue on the paperback cover? I could not. I tried everything I thought I did and kinda got close after about an hour of fucking around. It’s not a big deal but I do wish I had written myself instructions when I did the paperback cover! Everything was perfect except for the particular shade of blue. Ho hum.

After that I made some posters. The other day I made 13 posters for the Ellie Conway FBI-Byte Series. They’re gorgeous.
Today I made a set for the [Veronica Tracey] Spy/PI Series. It’s much fun playing with graphics and glitter.

What should I be doing?
Writing.
Of course.
My zillions of scene notes and random words are filling my notebook up rather quickly. It would be wise for me to sit my arse down (or stand because I usually write standing) and write.
Am I?
No. I am not. I’m doodling-about here instead. I’m also thinking about more gorgeous posters and so forth that I can make.
I did do a lot of writing yesterday morning … tweaking notes and compiling stuff to send to my lovely crime writing class. There were a lot of PDF’s. A LOT.

Perhaps I will give myself a doodling-about time limit then make myself write for an hour.
We’ll see. 🙂
