Do you believe in magic?

There is a kind of magic that happens when I’m writing. Words appear on the page and they make sense, if that isn’t magic I don’t know what is. 🙂

I’m getting ready for the launch of [Foxtrot Mike Lima], you might’ve read something about that, there are a few things that I need to do. The first is finalise the contents of the book. I have ordered another proof, fingers crossed I’m happier with the story now. Not that I wasn’t happy with it, it’s just that there were things that I’d neglected to explain, because I know the connections so my brain assumes everyone does, but they do not.
I have pretty well spent the last two weeks messing around with sentences and words. So, I’m hoping it’ll be fine now.

What else have I been doing?
Writing.
[Indigo Romeo Lima] is coming along. I think I’m almost at the end of my notes so the next 80K will be much fun as I wonder what really happened to someone and if they did what it looks like they did, a long way from home. Not telling anyone much because that’s how I roll when I’m writing.

I did reach out to my last crime writing class to see how everyone is getting on because I’m nice like that. 🙂

Right, that’s me.
Take care x

  1. There is nothing like that magic that happens when a story takes over and you’re telling it. It just sweeps you away, doesn’t it? Very glad [Indigo Romeo Lima] is coming along. Can’t wait to see what everyone’s got up to!
