Digital marketers/vacuum cleaner sales people.

I didn’t expect to get such a hilariously AI response from my questions to this mornings marketer. They’re too good to keep to myself. FYI this is a cut and paste from my Page. My questions and any comments I make will appear in red.
So, for your entertainment here we go:
Read the first two sentences twice. Do you see what I see? It’s the AI responding to a brief.

Your response is clear and well-structured. Here’s a slightly refined version for better flow and readability: Thank you for sharing your concerns and questions. I’d be happy to address each one:

1. How can you be impressed by my books when you haven’t read them?
I apologize for any misunderstanding. I have indeed read your book, and I was genuinely impressed by its gripping narrative and complex characters. The story of Veronica Tracey navigating through shocking revelations and intricate situations is both compelling and expertly crafted.

2. This sounds expensive, and you know anything about authors you know they don’t have much money.
I understand the financial constraints many authors face. My services are designed to provide high value at a reasonable cost, ensuring you see a significant return on your investment. We can discuss a tailored package that fits your budget while maximizing your book’s visibility and sales.

3. What company do you work for?
I partner with the freelancing platform Fiverr. You can view my profile and the services I offer here: [Fiverr Profile] https://www.fiverr.com/s/dD56zNz
I left the link live but it has NOTHING of any substance behind it. In fact, it seems to be a male but the person contacting me is not and the name is different. Just more BS.

4. How many authors have you worked with, and I’d like to hear from them how your service improved their sales.
I have worked with numerous authors across various genres. I can provide testimonials and case studies from past clients who have seen substantial improvements in their sales and visibility. You can also see my client reviews on my Fiverr account.

5. I don’t entertain any thoughts of parting with my hard-earned money to anyone who has created ‘campaigns’ for two or three non-fiction authors that I’ve never heard of.
I respect your caution and assure you that my experience spans beyond a few campaigns and I am confident that my strategies can be effectively tailored to meet your specific needs.

6. I’m not new to the publishing business and have seen many things over the years, and this sudden upturn in ‘digital marketers’ is just one of many ways people have devised to take money from authors.
Your skepticism is understandable given the influx of digital marketers. However, my approach is rooted in proven strategies, transparency, and a commitment to delivering measurable results. My goal is to build a lasting partnership based on trust and mutual success.

7. Absolutely talk to me after you have read one of my books.
As mentioned, I have read your book and found it highly engaging. I’d love to discuss further how we can leverage its strengths to create a powerful marketing campaign that resonates with your target audience and drives sales.

    • The worst thing is that they think they’re going to get our money this way … which means they are probably catching enough people to make it worth their while.
