December 2024

December started pretty quickly, don’t you think? October was the slowest month on record and November flew by!
I decided I want to finish the third novella in the Fates Entwined: Spellbound Bookshop Trilogy – this month. I had written one chapter prior to that decision.
Why wouldn’t I add more stress to December?

2K a day will get it finished before Christmas. Over the last two days I have gone from 2k into 10k. Guess I’m serious about finishing it!

I did order some paperback copies of ‘Scattered on Cloth’ because I’ll launch that properly with [Indigo Romeo Lima] on April 11. Fingers crossed, I also have Poppy’s story done in time for a triple launch! Holy moly!!

What else has been happening here? Christmasing. That’s happening. I have a thing for Christmas gnomes. It’s a very gnomy Christmas here. I’ve always had a soft spot for gnomes. I even put them in a novel: [Nothing happens here]

The other thing … guys, this is serious. I need you all to talk me up, tell everyone about my FBI-Byte Series and the Veronica Tracey Spy/PI Series and of course Fates Entwined! Tell everyone you can think of and then random people on the street – it’s Christmas! Go hard!
There is a point. Bestie/Sister and I want to go somewhere in August next year and for us it’s incredible. It’s Scotland!
To get to Scotland to watch a musical featuring Bay City Roller songs, I need to sell a fuck tonne of books. Seriously, books need to fly out the doors of all the online retailers. And it needs to happen immediately.
If it wasn’t for the Bay City Rollers I would probably have not become an author.
I had the opportunity to tell Les McKeown that a few years before his death and thank him for his unwitting involvement in our teen years and what came out of being a BCR fan.

I’m trusting you all know what to do! Much power to you!

  1. S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night! Yes, I can see why you want to do a Bay City Rollers thing. You’ll have so much fun! I agree completely that December has snuck up on us very, very quickly. If you ask me, a bit too quickly. How cool that you’re already so deep into the third of your trilogy. I bet it’ll be fantastic! Can’t wait to see how that turns out. And [FFS], too!
