A day in the life …

I’ve just sat down. Potentially I could spend the next two hours writing. We’ll see.
How was your Monday?

Mine looked, and still looks in some regards, like this:
I stumbled out of bed to let the dog out, then back in, and then feed the beasts, and made coffee.
While my coffee was brewing I opened all the curtains and some windows.
Then it was time for Magic radio and the drinking of coffee. The dark black elixir that prevents me from murdering people. That all takes place while I’m checking emails and fiddling about on Facebook and my website.
At some point I made it into the shower and fairly presentable clothing – and walked 3KM to see the doctor. Read three chapters of the book I’m reading while I waited.
Always good to see a puzzled expression on your doctor’s face. Such is the joy of Brian brain. Wouldn’t be mine if it wasn’t playing up somehow. 🙂
Then I went and got some meat from the supermarket.
Walked home. That’s a nice 6.7KM round trip today.
Met Diesel, Doris, May, and Charlie on my way home – they were going to the park. (Two of those names belong to dogs.)
Got the washing on and some out on the line.
Changed the kitty litter tray.
Vacuumed the whole house including the fecking stairs.
Did the dishes.
Cleaned the jug.
Put more washing out.
Put more washing on.
Cleaned the toilet.
Cleaned the bathroom.
Opened two parcels. 🙂
Now there is more washing to go out. It never seems to end.
I’ve decided to do a topside roast for dinner tonight – just because. I haven’t got any kumara which is sad but I’ll live. Got plenty of pumpkin. 🙂
Next week is a bit of a family week with incoming family from the UK, Sydney, Mahau Sound, Christchurch, and Tauranga. It’s VERY exciting. VERY exciting.
The launch of [Indigo Romeo Lima] is NEXT WEEK!
Right, I need to write some words!
What was in the parcels I opened today?
let me show you … maybe … just a peak at my new tequila travel mug.

  1. I absolutely love that mug! It’s fantastic! It sounds as though you’ve had a really productive day so far, and I’m happy for you. I always feel better when I’ve gotten things done… I hope the weather holds so that your laundry will dry properly.
