It turns out I am writing the 9th Veronica Tracey Spy/PI novel. I thought maybe I’d take a break and work on something else. I did try. Apparently dropping Ronnie on the side of the road so I can work on a different thing is just as difficult as dropping Ellie Conway off somewhere. We all know how that ended, right? So, because Ronnie is not prepared to say goodbye yet, I am writing book 9 and hoping she’ll show me some grace in a few days/weeks so I can get back to the ‘other’ project.
Book 9 is titled [Indigo Delta Kilo]. 5K in and it’s already living up to its title.

The other things I’ve been doing is looking at keywords and such like. (Hence the title of the post!)
Keywords are not easy. Working out which phrases get results is kinda like chucking darts in the dark and hoping for a bullseye.
Not so long ago I changed all the keywords for the Veronica Tracey Series. I had dismal failures of keywords prior to changing them. Today I went in to check them again and discovered I hadn’t changed the ones for Volume 1 and Volume 2. *shakes head*
I probably intended to do just that but had either had had enough or forgot.

I haven’t yet done the FBI-Byte Series. And I need to.
I’m working up to it. Trying to raise enthusiasm.

I did it. I just did it. It took far too long but it’s done. Honestly where did that hour go? I found out I had sorted the keywords for the FBI-Byte Series but I hadn’t sorted the categories. I think everything has been done now. So, I can carry on with my day and not think too much about admin stuff for a bit and hopefully the right audience will now find the books.

It turns out the FBI-Byte Series novels are: emotionally intense FBI stories where the danger doesn’t end when the case does.
Sounds correct.
Anywho, I’m done with messing with stuff for the day.
Now to go back to finding out what Ronnie thinks she’s doing …

My heel is annoyed after going to physio this morning so I think it needs a rest. My wrist is annoyed from life. It’s not getting a rest. It can get over itself.

I best get some words written, these character won’t traumatise themselves. 🙂
