Got home this afternoon. There was joy because the shuttle driver was the same lovely driver who took me to the airport on Saturday. We had a good laugh at various idiots in cars (he’s not fond of most drivers) and then we had wee chat about the idiot who killed people in Auckland this morning. He was disgusted, and rightly so.

Now I’m back I need to go over my launch list. We’re charging toward the launch event. Exciting. Aug 4th will zap around far too quickly if I’m not careful. I have all sorts of lovely things already organised but there’s bound to be more to do! There always is.

Luckily I’ll have my best friend here in time to offer moral/practical support for the cake making and decorating. The cake will be made the day before and mirror glazed on the day. If indeed I still go with mirror glaze. I could change my mind yet. It’s not unheard of!

The youngest seemed pleased to see me so that’s nice. The animals are pretending I’m not here. Clearly, they did not approve of me vanishing.

While I was away I worked out something I need for [Foxtrot Mike Lima] so that has pleased me. 🙂
On that note, I am off to do things.
