Nov 25

It’s a month until Christmas.
I think I might be almost ready for Christmas. Almost. Maybe. Let’s not dwell on it.

This week I’ve been writing. I decided to get stuck into the second novella about the sisters. Yesterday while I was enjoying the process I realised that I actually need a name for the trilogy. I can’t keep referring to it as ‘the sisters’. So I did some messing about and then asked ChatGPT about it. The conversation was quite helpful and fun. ChatGPT does like to chuck in as many adjectives as possible and that’s amusing. Anywho, I took one idea and simplified it then told ChatGPT about it and the AI was delighted. If you ever want positive reinforcement then tell ChatGPT about something you’re working on. 🙂

Now there are several thoughts on the subject:
Fates Entwined: The Spellbound Bookshop Trilogy
Pages of Fate: The Mystic Sisters Trilogy
Fates Entwined: The Divining Sisters Trilogy
Pages of Fate: The Blooming Sisters Trilogy

I’m leaning toward the last because of the sister’s names and the stories. The sisters are blooming or burgeoning or flourishing (maybe not the flourish part yet and burgeoning sounds harsh to me) … Open to your thoughts!
Let me know what you think.

The stories so are:
Violet’s story: Written in Leaves (available everywhere)
Poppy’s story: Scattered on Cloth (expected 2024 – current WIP)
Lily’s story: Drawn from Cards (TBA – have to write it first!)

Opinions welcome!
🙂
Enjoy your Saturday.

  1. Choosing a title like that can be a real challenge, Cat! You’ve got some good ideas, too – ideas that reflect what’s actually in the story. I think I like Fates Entwined: The Spellbound Bookshop Trilogy the best. The bookshop is such an important part of the stories. But that’s just me. Or perhaps you’ll be hit with an even more brilliant idea!
