[FFS] launch day!

What a very busy time the last four months have been but we made. We landed here on [Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra] launch day!
Today came with a big plumbing bill, so that was fun.
If you’ve wanted to start reading my work – now’s good. I could do with the sales because today’s was the first of what will be a marathon of plumbing bills because the builder who renovated our new home was a wanker and didn’t (DID NOT) check the drains – even though we were lead to believe they did.

Anywho, enough of that. Just buy some books and help an author out! 🙂

So, launch day.
This morning my office was in chaos as I pulled out all sorts of wonderful things for the prize packs. If you’ve been to any of my launches you know there are always prizes.
This year … it’s a Grand Prize, An Undercover Operative pack, A Stay Sharp pack, A Field kit, and some Lucky Dip envelopes. And the usual bookmarks.

I’ve almost got things back to normal in my office.
Now I need to decide if I take the whole Veronica Tracey Series with me tonight (UH Library 6PM – don’t be late), or just the new book and a couple of the last one … I have no idea. The bigger the series gets the less I feel like lugging boxes and then lugging them home again!

I need to finish my notes.
I need to decide on an outfit for tonight.
This afternoon I have an x-ray and then an MRI, so, that’s going to cut into my ‘getting ready’ time and ‘outfit decision’ time.
At some stage I need to make some asparagus rolls. And maybe cucumber sandwiches.

Currently, I’m sitting in my office while two of the cats sleep nearby. They like my office because it’s sunny and lovely.
In five days I’ll be in Perth. This one was the longest countdown ever. I booked my tickets months ago. Way before My Knight came over last. I booked on January 11th and crossed my fingers that I’d be able to travel in April. So it’s been a long time coming.
It’s my first time back in Perth since COVID.

Right, on that note, I shall go and get shit done so tonight is not chaos. 🙂

See you at the library.
