I'm quite focused on writing at the moment. My brain is starting to work at its normal pace, there are a lot of balls in the air and no notes to keep me on track. Why'? Because it happened suddenly. The notes, scenes, I'd hand written are no longer relevant. It's not what I thought … Continue reading Don’t you remember?

What’s going on?
If you're like me you have no fucking clue. Just out here winging and hoping for the best. That is in fact how I write. Could be worse, I could be winging it with a non-functioning brain. :)It appears that some people are. This morning was all about adverbs, adjectives, passive and active sentences, loglines, and … Continue reading What’s going on?
The things my kids do:
Last week my youngest son (who is about to be an age that doesn't make him very young at all) was playing with ChatGPT after I'd shared some news. This is the result of Josh's tinkering. I don't know exactly what his prompt was and ChatGPT consistently wants to say my Byte Series is about hackers … Continue reading The things my kids do:
Let it Bleed
I haven't heard 'Let it Bleed' in ages so today I'm changing that. (I'll link you to it down the bottom.)It's a dull grey rainy day and the urge to do nothing is high. Tick or tock?
With Twitter going down the gurgler under Elon's control (or is it? I can't say I've noticed a change at all) ... authors and other people (because there are other people in the world - imagine?) are looking for other platforms. I've already mentioned I'm on Mastadon - I like it. NZ Mastadon is a … Continue reading Tick or tock?
