In 7 days [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] lands on devices all over the show. What fun that will be! I’m really looking forward to you all being able to read this story. For clarification, I was going to add to the front matter: Based on true events.
But I forgot. Thing is some of it is so … how fun is that? Pretty sure anyone who follows me on FaceBook will grasp which story line is based on real life happenings.
Most of what I’ve written could have “loosely based on true events” popped in the front matter, because there is an element of truth in everything. Occasionally, I could’ve added “loosely based on true events that hadn’t happened at the time of writing”. 🙂 🙂

I’ve been trying to come up with ways to get the cover colours on the [WTF] launch cake and yesterday it was suggested mirror icing might work. That’s quite an exciting prospect! I did some YouTube watching to see how it’s done. Found a Kiwi baker who has fab clear step-by-step instructions. I’m going to give it ago. There will be a trial prior to the launch. (Aug 4th, 6PM, Upper Hutt Central Library.)
I’d like to play with the mirror icing idea today but we’re still eating the cake I made the other day. 🙂

I am working on Book 5 of my Kiwi Spy/PI series. Slowly letting the story evolve as I type is always a fun way to approach things. I can tell you that two of the new characters you will meet in [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] are back in [Foxtrot Mike Lima], and Ronnie might not be wrong about her suspicions. Might not be. I don’t know if she is or isn’t at this point, but things are happening to make Ronnie a tad more suspicious.
