This is one of those ‘if you know you know’ blog titles. Could’ve been ‘Against the Wind’ but not today.
Anywho, a lot of words happening at the moment. [IRL] is moving quite quickly but still too slow for my liking. It’s that annoying thing … I can see it and want to write it but McWristy throws a fit if I write too long. (Too long these days is nowhere near long enough.) Quite annoying. It’s more than ‘quite’ but I’m a Kiwi and that’s how we measure shit.
So, lot’s of words floating around and I’m wishing I had the ability to write twice as fast and four times as long. That’s life I guess. Could be worse. Could always be worse until one day it won’t be and you’ll listening to Bob Seger and drinking red wine.
Also making progress on ‘Scattered on cloth’. Quite enjoying that, but again … it’s not happening fast enough. 🙂
There is a fun cross over in ‘Scattered on Cloth’. If you’ve read any of the Veronica Tracey Spy/PI series you’ll know Jenn and if you’ve read [Foxtrot Mike Lima] you will know that the Spellbound Bookshop novellas are set in the same ‘universe’ as the VT series but only if you’ve also read ‘Written in Leaves’ … it’s like some crazy arsed time travel loop. Enjoy.
Speaking of crazy time travel loops, have you watched Outer Range on Prime? We did. Not at all sure that the time travel worked though. Surely if an adult child of someone goes back in time and meets a parent prior to their existence then the parent would know them in the future? They had to name them, right? It turned into a bit of a mind fuck to be honest. And then you’ve got the granddaughter existing in the same time and place as a child and an adult. Was a good series though. 🙂
Currently, I’m not really reading but we’re watching Justified because My Knight hasn’t seen it and let me tell ya, he loves it as much as I do.
Observation … Eraserbyte is very Adele heavy. 🙂

Sorry to hear McWristy is limiting your writing time so much! How annoying! I’m glad you’ve got a lot of words and ideas going on, though. At least you know where the story’s going, and that’s a big thing!
