Maybe 2k, maybe more.

In an effort to not think about the new normal I have jumped into writing [Echo Mike Papa]. It was not my intention to start another story while [Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra] is with my editor. But I did. I did and it’s fun. It’s escapism.
In a few weeks My Knight will be home and we can get some stuff done but until then, escapism is the way to go. (And jury service, because that’s scheduled for two weeks from Monday.)
I thought I might write 2k today but I think it was more like 3.5k. It’s easy to write at the moment. It was hard a few weeks ago because there was just too much shit to deal with, but now the words are flowing.

I was staring at the calendar earlier because I want to order a skip bin but I’m running out of time to do that and have time to fill it. The annoyance of new furniture is the packing material and amount of cardboard that has to be chucked. It mounts up fast. I’m pretty sure I could chuck almost everything in the shed into a skip now. Man, that would be fun. I love throwing things away. It’s so satisfying. Plus, we moved a heap of stuff to the magic carport – and all of that needs to go in a skip. The problem is time. (And not wanting to part with $400 to hire the skip!)

I did finally manage to get NZ Post to agree that Superman has been receiving mail for 30 years at the address they reckoned never received mail. That was a fight I didn’t expect to have! FFS. Anywho, redirection is underway now and that should solve the problem of people opening his mail. I’m the only person with authority to open his mail.

And just like that it’s a new day full of promise.
Wonder what I’ll do with it?
Guess we’ll see. 🙂

Stay safe out there.
I can see Ronnie and Crockett so I think I’ll follow that scene for a bit.
