Quite pleased with the direction of [Indigo Delta Kilo] at this point. I can see the next few scenes (as video in my brain as usual) so that’s good.
The title of this post came about because Crockett said it and I haven’t heard that phrase for a long time. Probably the last time I heard it was in the 70’s.
Anywho, the process of writing [Indigo Delta Kilo] is a bit slow at the moment. It definitely has fast moments but overall I’m finding it slow going. It annoys me BUT there’s always a slow moment. It’s not the pacing. It’s me that’s having a slow moment. I’m not getting a good run at writing. Some of that is my brain and some of it is McWristy and then I’m having some very odd MacBook issues.
I’m hoping the update yesterday did something to alleviate the heat and heat related moments of lag. It’s only a year old, has heaps of ram, and storage. Would be very annoying to have to replace it so soon! (If I did, I’d go pro.)
Fingers crossed it was an anomaly and is now sorted.
I love my MacBook.
So, [Indigo Delta Kilo] kinds looks like this so far … “Someone tagged a child. Now everyone wants the family. As Veronica Tracey fights to keep them alive, she uncovers a chilling possibility, their supposedly dead mother may be the reason they’re being hunted.”
How did this story line come about?
I went to the ballet.
There was a man wearing Soviet era cufflinks. (You don’t see them every day!)
Bam! A story.
Right, I’m off. I’ve got words to write. People to torture. You know, the usual.
