Life’s Been Good

Thank Joe Walsh for the title. I’ll include the playlist I’m listening to at the end. 🙂

Delighted to say that the first parcel of [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] books arrived this morning. Considering the utter hell I went through trying to get Amazon to accept they had a fault on their end and to fix it so I could order my books, it’s a freaking joy being able to hold the finished gorgeousness. 🙂

Next week I’ll order more. Don’t think I really need to get too many because the launch party event isn’t until Aug 4th and the book releases on June 30. I’m getting a few of the first three books as well, but not too many. Anywho, I can order them now and they actually arrive so yay!

Yesterday I managed another 2k in the current WIP which is [Foxtrot Mike Lima] and it’s fun. I’m 7 chapters in now so it’s finally starting to move along at its own pace. I am still limiting screen time and finding that thinking/writing is exhausting. To be expected I guess.

Trying to get more walking in during the week. I enjoy walking as long as I have a purpose and the weather isn’t shite. Monday: 5.47km, Tuesday: 5.25km, Wednesday: 8.08km, Thursday: 3.35km, and Friday: 8.77km. Not a bad week!

I’m currently reading another book in the “No Justice/dark vigilante” series. I am enjoying it otherwise I would’ve stopped after the first book. I think I’m on the third now.
What are you reading?

I’m also binge watching “Justified” on Disney+. I love it. Be hard not to love a modern day western to be honest. Westerns have long been a favourite genre of mine.
What are you watching?

Veronica Tracey, a former intelligence officer turned private investigator, uses her spycraft expertise to solve complex cases while dealing with themes of espionage, terrorism, and cybercrime in Cat Connor’s thrilling Spy/PI series set in New Zealand, featuring a sharp-witted and tenacious protagonist and a cast of compelling characters that will leave fans of the genre wanting more.

  1. ‘My Maserati does 185…’ – love it! Thanks for the earworm. I’m glad you’re making progress on your WIP. I’m looking forward to reading it! Can’t wait to see what Nana’s up to mow!

  2. I love the km’s! Good on you. Reading excerpt on Perspective by that lady, what’s her name, oh yeah, Ellyse Perry. Took a quote (actually related to walking) on my page. Have a good week!
