Yesterday I got through a bunch of edits and suggestions from Margot Kinberg (my much trusted friend).
[Foxtrot Foxtrot Sierra] is all the better for it.
One of the changes was allowing Nana her voice. Every now and then there are third POV chapters in this series, usually when I don’t want to share too much about the character or they’re bad and I don’t want anyone to work that out too early. Nana has a chapter in [FFS].
I re-wrote it as first person.
And chapter changed slightly and we do find out more about Nana. Not a great deal but enough to suggest what you see is the tip of the iceberg.
And I enjoyed it. 🙂

Anywho, [FFS] is almost ready for the first round of Kiwi edits.
Such fun.

The story I accidentally started when I thought I was having a break, has not progressed. That’s fine by me. I haven’t got the bandwidth for that at the moment. I did not sleep well last night. Took me ages to get to sleep. Mostly because of the lack of communication from Wairau regarding Superman. It’s fucking annoying. I cannot be in two places at once and there is only me. It’s one of those times that I miss my brother, a lot.
There seem to be a lot of things I need to do and I’m not getting anywhere. Far too much ‘hurry up and wait’ going on.

Question: how many authors out there are getting odd emails via their websites from people pretending to be legit authors?
I’m getting at least one a day. I’m quite tired of dealing with bullshit.
If you are a legit author reaching out to me – you’re going to have to come up with a way for me to recognise you as a person and not another scammer.
