Bite my head off.

Thank The Rolling Stones for today’s title.
I really like that song. In fact, I am enjoying ‘Hackney Diamonds’. I did have reservations but I’m pleased I hopped into Apple Music and bought it the other week.
I’ll put the album in via Spotify at the end of this post.

I opened the “Scattered on Cloth” file yesterday and found myself writing a wee bit. I can see that I’m going to enjoy the story. I think I know what’s going to happen so that’s something. It follows “Written in leaves” so it’s not a crime story and I don’t need to go further than using a notebook for this one. (No Post-it notes all over the walls this time.)
I did find a stumbling block that resulted in two question marks. I could not remember the name of Violet’s best friend. I think I should use the same notebook I used for the first of these stories then I have names at hand. 🙂
I’m also not sure what will be ‘scattered on cloth’ … originally I thought runes but I don’t think Poppy (it’s her story) is a rune person. Might be crystals. Might even be something to do with the moon. I need to get my grimoire out and the dark blue satin cloth and the stones I used to use. I think everything is safely in a box under my bed. I should be able to sense it. That makes me sound completely weird but it is what it is. I can tell where my pendulums are at all times and where a particular tarot deck is. I can visualise all of the tarot decks in the place they’re kept but there is one that I really like using and it’s always been kept away from the others. We all have our favourites.

So that’s where I’m at writing wise.

Fun times. 🙂

I have ditched that appalling boxed set with the climbing and spilling of everything. I’m reading a much better story, it’s about an ED nurse in her early fifties who buys an old house to convert to a B&B and of course someone is murdered in the house before she can get in there and start painting etc. I have chuckled a few times. It’s also got recipes in the book. 🙂

I’m also reading, Jason Matthews, “Palace of treason” … I love a good spy novel! If you’ve seen the movie, Red Sparrow, then you’ll love this second book on the Red Sparrow series. I loved Red Sparrow.

That’s it from me for today. There’s a story to write. 🙂

  1. I have to give the Rolling Stones so much credit, Cat, for staying in the game and doing it so well for all these years. I’m getting curious now about what’s going to happen with Poppy. It reminds me of someone I once knew who read runes. I’m glad your story is coming together as it is.
