What if?
What if William Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe had a chat about my work? Guess what you can do with ChatGPT? Oh yeah I did. This is the conversation that ChatGPT spat out. (And I gotta say, this AI thing is fun to play with!) William Shakespeare: Good day, Mr Poe. I couldn't help but … Continue reading What if?
There’s not enough coffee …
Day Light Savings ended. I'm glad it's finished. Now there is a 4-hour time difference between here and Perth instead of the 5 hours we had all summer. It doesn't matter when My Knight is here but it makes quite a difference when he's in Perth. I just made a second pot of coffee. It's … Continue reading There’s not enough coffee …
Synopsis? Blurb? Logline? Tagline?
Because I have seen a lot of people using the words synopsis and blurb as if they are interchangeable, I think it's time for a wee lesson. If you are an author and you don't know the difference, I want to know why? Why haven't you checked? Why haven't you jumped online and perused the … Continue reading Synopsis? Blurb? Logline? So I added something that was needed and sent off an updated version. I've started on [Foxtrot Mike … Continue reading Faraway Eyes
Why?
The title might stick, it's currently: why? Because why not? Yesterday was a fun day. My brain behaved, always good when that happens. Something to consider in an LEO setting ... intuition, experience, and training. Keep that in mind, for a second or two. Ellie Conway is the main character of my Byte Series. She … Continue reading Why?
Written in Leaves
It took two years and then some to write this story but now it's a thing. A proper thing. I even went hardback because I can. 🙂 At 38 thousand words it is a novella. Sue and I do not like when people say they've written a novel and it's under 80k. And if it's … Continue reading Written in Leaves
End of an era?
Feels like the end of an era. Writers Plot Bookshop is closing and will be online only from Saturday. It was a big part of my life for 7 years and now it's the end. It was a dream and then a reality and now I'm gone and so is the shop. I will be … Continue reading End of an era?
More coffee is needed.
It's a day. The difference is that I got the email about "Read an eBook week" that is in March on Smashwords. I usually sign up. No doubt I will over the next few days. The thing is ... is it worthwhile giving away the first two Byte Series books and the first Veronica Tracey … Continue reading More coffee is needed.
