Dream Weaver
Kia ora,The week has begun. Well, it’s Sunday, so technically it’s the beginning of the week. So far, it’s all right, nothing to write home about. To be honest, it could try harder. My Knight is recovering from his hip replacement in Perth and I’m here in New Zealand. That is not the ideal situation. Thanks for … Continue reading Dream Weaver
I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday
Bonus points if you recognize the song title and know which album it comes from. I am not sleeping at all well at the moment. Figure it's a whole bunch of things including My Knight having fairly major surgery next week and due to asshats who can't do simple things like - not spread COVID … Continue reading I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday
Just Older
Welcome to Friday. Turns out I'm getting older and I'm not super thrilled about it. The age thing is okay, I mean, I'm glad I'm not a freaking Zoomer. Imagine? What's not okay is arthritis and not being able to do what I've always done (and taken for granted). So, today I went looking for … Continue reading Just Older
Time is on my side
Thanks to the Rolling Stones for the blog title which is a little bit relevant because for the launch of Vaporbyte I do have time on my side and can set up all sorts of cool things ... let's get right to the first fun thing!Yesterday I stumbled upon something exciting on Smashwords. I discovered … Continue reading Time is on my side

Let me … Continue reading When the phone rings…
No Apologies
Welcome to the first week back in the bookshop after eight weeks at home. It's the first day of the first week. Pretty sure I've already offended people on Facebook by being me, but, you know what? I'm always me, fucking deal with it. And what I say on my own page, is entirely up … Continue reading No Apologies
November: The Big Thrill
Readers, Exciting news. There is an interview with me about Cryptobyte in the Nov issue of The Big Thrill! [Click on the word Cryptobyte above to read the interview.] In other news ... the launch is less than a week away, and it's very exciting. Of course, since returning home from Perth I've broken two … Continue reading November: The Big Thrill
Dear Readers,
Seemed like a good title for a blog post ... not sure if it works but hey, you be the judge. Since I've been away taking very good care of #MyKnight while he recovers from a hip replacement, I've actually done a few things. I know, I was surprised too. For starters, ALL the Byte … Continue reading Dear Readers,
Everything should sparkle
Seriously, it should. Not just because I just saw a glitter helmet on the telly (watching American Pickers with My Knight). I've been a sparkle lover my whole life. And you all know the joy when my daughter told me I could have GLITTER on my book covers. 🙂 As it stands now, two of … Continue reading Everything should sparkle
