Kia ora,
The week has begun. Well, it’s Sunday, so technically it’s the beginning of the week. So far, it’s all right, nothing to write home about. To be honest, it could try harder.
My Knight is recovering from his hip replacement in Perth and I’m here in New Zealand. That is not the ideal situation. Thanks for that, all you fuckers who couldn’t stay home, wash your hands, social distance, and stop being morons.
New Zealand has gone 100 days without a case of COVID in the community. (Because we’re not idiots.)
Western Australia must be pretty close to that too. (They’re not idiots.)
The rest of the world has apparently gone to hell – and there wasn’t even a hand basket. That’s pretty disappointing.
Now I’ve got that out of my system … I really haven’t but let’s pretend I have.
I have one last short story to write that involves Ellie and Delta A. It’s 6000-ish words currently and I kinda know where it’s going, I was even fiddling with it a bit today. Added some words. Quite enjoyed the process.
Why a short story?
Because early next year we will release the final boxed set, and the other 3 boxed sets have special *short stories written just for the sets.
This story doesn’t have a title yet. Not a proper one anyway.
We know it’ll be a Bon Jovi song but not exactly which song – there are a couple in the running. 🙂
This week I’d quite like to create the playlist for Vaporbyte. Well, both playlists. For both Vaporbytes. Such fun. Not sure if I’ll find the required time chunk but I’ll try.
Getting closer to the launch. It’s exciting and terrifying all at once. Not to mention a logistic nightmare with everything kinda up in the air waiting to see what happens border wise.
I doubt anything will and that will be really hard. Really hard.
*FYI when I say short story I mean something upwards of 10k words.
