Going with a Bob Seger classic today.
Let me tell you about the last few days.
They’ve been nuts.
I posted on Twitter a couple of days ago about Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. And so many people fondly remember Skippy. I’ve even heard from the son of Liza Goddard (Liza played Clarissa/Clancy in the series). It’s been an absolute blast of memories for so many of us!
1 million impressions when I looked this morning.
Who knew? Skippy is quite the hot topic!
The thread is full of joy, memories, and laughter. So, if you’re in need of something good, go check out my Twitter feed. I am definitely not the oldest person on Twitter. 🙂
I’ve had a lot of fun reading and replying to posts. It brings joy to see how happy people are when remembering TV shows from when they were younger.
In other news:
I’m trying to get some words written. I’d like a first draft of [Whiskey Tango Foxtrot] by November. We’ll see!
Encouragingly, I’m writing this morning. It is a lot easier to write when I don’t feel like utter crap. At the moment I only feel moderately shite. Finally almost shaken this flu.
COVID seems to have opened the way for me to catch every damn germ going! Not fun. It’s quite hard to think through fog.
If you haven’t heard the latest author podcast from Break it Down Show – that’s a YouTube link. Not about me but I am mentioned. It’s a really interesting chat with Judge David Ellis.
Gotta go to Silverstream this arvo. Yeah, I’m really looking forward to walking another 6KM today said no one recovering from the flu, ever.
On a cheerful note … looking forward to catching up with friends for dinner on Saturday night. Think it’s our turn to host. I’ve sorted the menu and dessert. 🙂
