I’ll add the song or maybe the whole album at the end of this post. (Yes, it’s Bon Jovi – but you knew that didn’t you?)
It’s also the title of a Byte Series short story that is in Raidbyte.
The story tagline is: D&D shouldn’t be fatal.
Undivided comes between Metabyte and Qubyte.
It’s the second short story with Argo as a character. If you remember he joined Ellie and Mitch’s family at the end of Metabyte.
I very much enjoyed having Argo in Delta A – he became part of the team in a short called ‘Heard it Through The Grapevine’ which followed on from Metabyte.
Fun fact, Diesel makes his debut in the latest Veronica Tracey Spy/PI book.
Don’t worry … Romeo is still there, being Romeo. It wouldn’t be the same without the ancient greyhound.
I’m not writing at the moment. I’m in that weird head space where the latest book exists and my brain tries to adjust to having finished the bulk of the writing phase. It’s a strange place full of second-guessing and doubt but it also includes relief at having written the bloody thing. The hardest part is behind me. From here on everything that happens to the ms makes the story stronger and better, and the characters more vibrant.
There’s always a bit of a slump after the elation of finishing the hardest part.
Mostly because there is nothing happening until it’s time to tweak, smooth plot lines and cajole characters.
I’ve been washing bedding. Yep. Washing bedding. Sheets, quilts, duvets, duvet covers. You know, all that type of fun stuff.
I’ve also been trying to work out what I need to do in the next 4 weeks regarding my birthday party.
I have many lists and I still can’t get my shit together. I have some stuff organised but mostly it’s not and I don’t know why I can’t get stuff done.
I suspect it’s because the bulk of stuff has to wait until the day before or the day. And I probably don’t need to worry too much about making too much food because December is useless for birthdays – everyone has work Christmas parties and so forth, so …
As promised here’s Bounce:
Well, congratulations and well done to Diesel! He’s a movie star! You know he’ll send his agent to you demanding a renegotiation of his doggy-contract… 😉 Seriously, though, I hope you’re feeling better.
He’s already after extra treats!! haha
