So, this happened:Yesterday I got a request via an elf. I needed to create a playlist from a list of songs given to me. Okay then. I did that. I was also told there are further instructions coming and that a special courier would deliver me a parcel last night. Intriguing! At about 7:30PM I grabbed … Continue reading Mid Winter Secret Santa

Trolls are alive and well …
Seems that all it takes to cop abuse is to be a Kiwi author and run a boosted post about a new release. Guess there are some very unhappy Australians out there who enjoy knocking Kiwis for no reason at all. Never mind the people who assume a boosted post for [Leave a message] is … Continue reading Trolls are alive and well …
What’s Up?
You may recognise the title as a song by '4 Non-Blondes', but it will always be 'three dumb blondes' for a couple of us. We drove up the South Island from Christchurch yesterday. Sunny all the way. Rather nice, or it would've been had it not been for the light flickering through trees and doing … Continue reading What’s Up?
Christchurch, [Leave a message], fun!
Yesterday, [Leave a message] digital versions were released. This joy coincided with an interview in the Big Thrill and that's pretty much all that marked the release of the third Ronnie Tracey novel. No cake. No fanfare. It just happened. 🙂 Currently, we are away and enjoying ourselves. Nothing like being away to really enable … Continue reading Christchurch, [Leave a message], fun!
Launch Day!
[Leave a Message] launches today. Amid a fanfare of absolutely bloody nothing. I'm not even at home so it's the quietest launch day ever. Anywho, today is June 1st and [Leave a message] joins its older sisters on the shelf at Writers Plot Bookshop. It's not live as a digital version yet because the rest … Continue reading Launch Day!

It's that time of year. Such fun!I've been thinking about what I'm doing for my giftee for a wee while. I even screen-shotted tweets from the person to help. Today is the day I need to get the gift underway. I'd like to post before Friday. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to … Continue reading Mid-Winter Secret Santa

Lucky you! https://open.spotify.com/track/1nAexCn3dPoFSmE7h6P5S7?si=0a80a434baa74763 It's two sleeps until My Knight walks through the door. :)Yesterday I had to battle Amazon just to get author copies of [Leave a message] delivered to NZ from Oz. Today I received … Continue reading Sometimes When We Touch
Hot Stuff
Yes, I'm listening to "Black and Blue", it's one of my favourite Stones albums. The last few days haven't been much fun. Somehow I contracted COVID. Don't know how or when. FYI, you don't want this. Even triple vaxxed, you don't want this. Had an email today from someone who has been asked to interview … Continue reading Hot Stuff

All Summer Long.
Bit of a country music afternoon happening here. Seems perfect for a sunny Easter Sunday. Summer is almost properly over. The smoke tree is slowly turning red.I've mucked about with print and ePub formatting and fiddled with a few sentences in [Leave a message]. I have pages of handwritten scenes to type into the new … Continue reading All Summer Long.
