I Get A Rush.

If you don’t recognise the blog title it’s a Bon Jovi song from 100,000,000 fans can’t be wrong.

I was going to link it, but it’s in the Flashbyte playlist and I had another plan for today’s post! If you want to hear it then go to Playlists (up top) and scroll down to Flashbyte.)

Was a pretty good week here. Margot read [Foxtrot Mike Lima] and I made the recommended changes … I was also appalled at how many ridiculous word mistakes there were. Thanks brain for being a proper dick.
I started reading the story again yesterday. Got through five chapters and made notes while Doris was at counselling. When we got home I tweaked the manuscript accordingly.
I plan on ten chapters with notes today.

Weirdness this morning. My right index finger and middle finger are cold. It’s happened before but I don’t know why it’s happening. It’s quite odd. It wasn’t a thing at all prior to the last few months.
No doubt it will be back to normal shortly.

I’m going to try dictating a story. I’m not sure how that will work for me. I always play music while I write – it tells my brain that we’re doing something and it needs to pay attention – so it might be a bit tricky.
When I say music I do not mean instrumentals I mean music with lyrics. I can’t see the point of listening to an instrumental track. I keep waiting for the lyrics to start. 🙂 Also, I like to badly singalong with whatever is playing.

Earlier this week, I realised I hadn’t created a playlist for Snakebyte. I don’t know why not. It’s done now. As I was creating it I noticed (quite quickly) that 99% of the songs are from 100,000,000 fans can’t be wrong. Unfortunately two of the songs I used for chapter titles weren’t on Spotify. I’m not sure why, but it could be that I have a different version of the boxed set. A lot of my Bon Jovi albums have extra CD’s or extra songs. Yay for living in the Southern Hemisphere! 🙂

Here is the Snakebyte playlist:

  1. I haven’t tried dictating a story before; I’ll be really interested to know how you get on with it. And trust me, you should see what my brain’s done to some of my writing. I swear they plot against us!! Hope your revising goes well!
